As many of you know, I’m an actress, creative, and most importantly, a woman who loves God and loves people deeply. For as long as I can remember, visiting Africa has been on my heart. Not just to see it, but to experience it, connect with it, learn from it, and pour into it in a meaningful way.
In August 2026, I’ll be traveling to Nigeria alongside an incredible nonprofit organization to help rebuild ADC Grammar School, a school serving over 2,000 children who are currently learning in extremely difficult conditions. Many of the students sit on bare floors without desks, in classrooms with deteriorating walls, yet they continue to show up eager to learn, hopeful, resilient, and full of joy.
When I learned about this mission, something in me immediately said yes.
This opportunity means so much to me because I truly believe we are called to love, serve, uplift, and be a light wherever we can. Education changes lives, and every child deserves a safe, beautiful space to dream, learn, and grow.
I’m humbly asking for your support as I prepare for this journey. Whether through donations, prayers, encouragement, or simply sharing this message, every bit of support helps bring this vision closer to life.
No amount is too small, and every contribution truly matters. Donations of $200 or more will also be honored on the Builders Wall, becoming part of a lasting legacy for these children and their future.
Thank you for believing in me, believing in this mission, and helping us create something meaningful that will impact generations to come.
With love and gratitude,
An actress, creative, and woman of faith traveling to Nigeria in August 2026 to help rebuild ADC Grammar School for over 2,000 children who show up to learn every day, full of hope, despite heartbreaking conditions.

This is what Keturah has built — milestone by milestone, country by country, life by life. Every item on this list happened because one woman refused to stop showing up.
For the first five years, Keturah solely funded the mission herself, driven by a deep belief that giving back is a selfless act of love and purpose.
She traveled to San Francisco to personally present a scholarship to a student whose future deserved to be seen and supported.
The Keturah Hamilton Foundation proudly awarded a scholarship to Ibe Rose, a young woman in Nigeria pursuing a degree in Customer Care Management.
In celebration of our 6th Annual Thanksgiving for the Less Fortunate, Zeus Network generously donated $10,000 in support of our causes. Their contribution reflected a shared commitment to service, compassion, and community impact.
An annual back to school giveaway held at Jim Gilliam Park in Los Angeles, in partnership with actor Malcolm Mays and Raven Bowens, provided over 250 children with school bags and essential supplies. Sponsored by New Balance and the Kinnect Foundation, the event aimed to ensure students begin the school year prepared and supported.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, which severely impacted Jamaica, The Keturah Hamilton Foundation provided critical support to affected families and communities. With the help of our partners and supporters, assistance was delivered to help rebuild a home, bring farms back to life, and replace livestock lost in the storm, allowing families to begin restoring their livelihoods and stability.
Shay is humbly asking for your support as she prepares for this journey. Whether through donations, prayers, encouragement, or simply sharing this message — every bit of support helps bring this vision closer to life.
No amount is too small, and every contribution truly matters. Every donation helps rebuild ADC Grammar School in Apomu, Nigeria giving 2,000 children a learning environment worthy of their potential and their joy.
Thank you for believing in her, believing in this mission, and helping create something meaningful that will impact generations to come.
These are not stock photos. Every image is a real moment — from foundation events and galas to community programs across six countries. This is Keturah Hamilton: the philanthropist, the leader, and the woman who shows up every single time.
